IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

We’re delighted to announce that Eli Gaventa will be joining us at the start of September to take up the post of Community Events Director. He will work closely with Rabbi Mason in developing an events programme for the community and he will also contribute to the youth scheme and the cheder. The post, which is part time (two days per week) is initially for two years and is part-funded by the United Synagogue. Eli has experience working for Sinai Youth Movement and for Tzedek and has recently been ‘Scholar in Residence’ at the Edinburgh Hebrew Congregation. He has studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion and is now doing a BA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts.

I am very excited to start working for and with the Muswell Hill community and greatly look forward to getting to know you all over the next two years. I hope that together we can achieve some wonderful things. Everyone tells me about how welcoming and lovely you all are and I cannot wait to find out for myself!
