We are now hopefully entering our post Covid and lockdown programme. The summer has arrived and we very much want to plan some fun afternoons. Life is still very uncertain, but what we do know today is that 30 of us can meet outside. We very much hope that all restrictions will be lifted on 21st June, but with rising numbers and more of the population to vaccinate, this remains in question.
Our steering committee has agreed that Toth will resume on 23rd June as promised, come what may. Once we have a clear picture, we will plan our programme of meetings through the summer.
We are now writing to inform you of the exciting news that TOTH WILL RECOMMENCE on Wednesday 23rd June. We plan to meet outside, in the Shul car park, at 3.30 pm (delayed by 1 hour from our usual 2.30 start in view of the nursery timings).
This meeting will be informal. We’d like to hear from people what they liked most about lockdown (if anything), what they liked least, and what they are most looking forward to once most restrictions are lifted. We also would value contributions of ideas for our future programme, including suggestions for trips and similar activities.
We will be resuming meetings with speakers, but are putting these on hold until the autumn.
In view of the current restrictions, and having to limit numbers to 30 (unless of course this changes on 21st June), we would appreciate it if you could notify Janet if you are able to attend on 23rd June, via her personal email address: . Places will be located on a first come first served basis.
