Muswell Hill’s Young Chefs

Muswell Hill’s young people made the press this week as the Jewish Chronicle featured an article about our first cooking club. Olly Cowen, Eden and Mitty Swimer, Theo Freeman and Jodie and Amy Darsa joined Helen Style, Karen Ackerman and Lisa Darsa to cook a three course meal for local community members and the soup kitchen at the Dukes Avenue Church. Olly took charge of a white sauce for the delicious vegetable lasagne, the boys enjoyed bashing biscuits for Rocky Road cookies whilst Amy and Jodie were busy chopping vegetables and putting the lasagne together. The food was all hugely appreciated and tasted great. We also put some in the freezer at shul so if you know anyone who would appreciate a home cooked meal, let the shul office know.
