Welfare
Muswell Hill Synagogue aims to be a warm welcoming place where all are cared for.
We try and offer a friendly face to those who need our help. We have volunteers at the shul who help visit people in hospital, drop them parcels at Pesach or deliver a honey cake at Rosh Hashanah.
Are you able to visit someone who may have no family? We get occasional requests from older people for someone to visit them and they often welcome visits from people with young children. Are you able to visit someone? The commitment would be as much or as little as you are able to give.
Are you able to help deliver honey cakes in early September or a parcel of food at Pesach? This would take a few hours at times that suit you
Can you offer a few hours to help phone some of our members and let them know that someone is thinking of them ? This will take up a few hours at Pesach and Rosh Hashanah.
If you can do any of these please email ">Harriet Rhodes
If you need support from the community at a difficult time please also contact ">Harriet Rhodes.
We have members who would like to offer hospitality on Friday Nights or Chagim, if you would like to join them for a meal please let us know.
