Years 7 & 8
The Muswell Hill Bnei Mitzvah program, now in its 3rd year, is a perfect way for your child to start their Bnei Mitzvah years in our community. The program focuses on three key areas: Jewish Literacy, Identity and Responsibility. We provide the students with vital Jewish knowledge and tools in their Bar and Bat Mitzvah years. They are encouraged to use these tools to explore what their Jewish identity means for them as they grow up.
Bnei Mitzvah Timings 2018/2019:
Year 7: 17:00 – 18:30
Year 8: 18:30 – 20:00*
*Year 8 Bnei Mitzvah classes are held periodically throughout the year, contact Josh () for more information.
The ORT UK Bar/Bat Mitzvah twinning programme connects Jewish children in the UK with children from our partner countries in the Baltic States and FSU. As they embark on this emotive and meaningful journey, the children learn about their own family roots, history and Jewish migration.
The trip to visit our partner school/s is an opportunity to connect with pupils and parents of the ORT schools and to see the impact of ORT ‘s work in the region. Along with their parents, our young people spend time visiting places of interest in this historic community as well as sharing many emotional spiritual moments.
Year 9 & 10
