R-Club is our weekly Social Club in the Synagogue.  Led by our able group of Youth Leaders in Year 12 and 13, R-Club is an opportunity to relax, have fun and meet up with your friends while engaging in fun activities.  R-Club is a place to learn and develop your skills and interests.

Bnei Mitzvah:

Years 7 & 8

The Muswell Hill Bnei Mitzvah programme is a perfect way for your child to start their Bnei Mitzvah years in our community. The programme focuses on three key areas: Jewish Literacy, Identity and Responsibility. We provide the students with vital Jewish knowledge and tools in their Bar and Bat Mitzvah years. They are encouraged to use these tools to explore what their Jewish identity means for them as they grow up.

Bnei Mitzvah Timings 2018/2019:

Thursday Evening

Year 7: 17:00 – 18:30

Year 8: 18:30 – 20:00*

*Year 8 Bnei Mitzvah classes are held periodically throughout the year, contact Josh Brickman () for more information.


Social Action Programme:

Years 9 & 10

The Year 9 & 10 Social Action Programme is an opportunity to come together with friends once a week to make a positive impact in your local community.  The programme will count towards the volunteering part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award for those who are doing it, but the programme is open to everyone – you can come for a good time and to give back!  Contact Josh Brickman () for more details.


GCSE Religious Studies (AQA):

Year 9 & 10

Join your friends and complete a GCSE in Religious Studies at Muswell Hill Synagogue. For more information contact Adam Levine ().


Leadership Opportunities:

R-Club Youth Leaders: (Year 12 & 13)

Become an R-Club Youth Leader and join your friends in running R-Club on a weekly basis. You will learn valuable ‘Hadracha’ skills as well as have a great time with the Year 7 & 8s.  Take on the responsibility of planning and rolling out exciting R-Club sessions for our Year 7 & 8s. Working with Josh Brickman, you will have a real say in the direction R-Club sessions take
