The US & GIFT Food Collection Day – Sunday, 12 July

The U.S  together with  GIFT are running their very successful Food Collection Day on Sunday 12th July and we’d like your help to make it the biggest donation yet.

There are two ways you can help this year.

Firstly there will be a food donation point set up in the Shul Foyer from Thursday 9th – Sunday 12th July.  It would be lovely if as many of you as possible could donate something towards this special charity. (Non perishable tinned food, packets of rice, pasta, cereals, tea, coffee, sugar etc..).

Secondly we’ll be collecting food donations from shoppers outside Sainburys in Muswell Hill and are looking for some volunteers to help on the day.  We are looking for help with the following:

Some volunteers to stand outside Sainsburys collecting food contributions for an hour between12-1pm and 1-2pm.

Some volunteers at Shul during the morning to take in and sort the donations from our members.
