I enclose below the details of our summer programme of outings:
Wednesday 29th May
Outing to the Freud Museum, with Professor Stephen Frosh
Meet at 1.45 pm at the museum, at 20 Maresfield Gardens, NW3 5SX
There is currently an exhibition ”Freud and Latin America” which explores the impact that Freud had on culture, society, art and psychoanalysis in Latin America. Stephen will speak to us about this exhibition.
Stephen is Emeritus Professor at Birkbeck, University of London. He was a visiting Professor at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He is an Academic Fellow of the Freud Museum and is associated with the current exhibition because of research he has done on the history of psychoanalysis in Brazil.

Wednesday 5th June
Outing to Cambridge and tour of the Fitzwilliam Museum
Coach trip, leaving Muswell Hill Shul at 9.30am and leaving Cambridge at approximately 3.30pm.
Cost for return coach and entry and tour of Museum: £45 a head.

Outing to The Charterhouse in the City of London
Meet at 1.45 pm at The Charterhouse, Charterhouse Square, London EC1M 6AN
This outing follows on from our fascinating talk by Simon Smith on the history of almshouses. The Charterhouse is an almshouse and a heritage site. The historic buildings date back to medieval and Tudor times and are home to a vibrant, contemporary community.
