Thanks to those of you who have been joining our outings. We hope you have a fun time.
Unfortunately, when I finally heard from the Globe Theatre, they advised me that they are not running guided tours through November and when they resume, they are only doing tours on limited days. The Globe hopes to be putting on more tours next year, when I hope to reschedule.
So instead, I have arranged a tour at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 3rd November at 2.00 pm. This is what they say about the tour:
– The Royal Albert Hall Tour is a Guided Tour where “you’ll discover how the building was founded 150 years ago, the royal love story that made it happen, and how we solved one of the UK’s most enduring engineering challenges – the Royal Albert Hall echo. This tour will also include certain behind the scene elements such as the royal areas; including the royal box and entrance”.
This tour cannot be confirmed until I have sent payment.
The cost is £12 a head.
